I spent a great amount of my time traveling, and I have visited many great places, and have not done justice to my personal book of memories, especially when friends and relatives ask for pictures from any recent trip. When I first feasted my eyes on this particular good looking camera, I was surprised to find that Olympus had outdone themselves recently after being rather quiet for so long. I particularly enjoyed the look and feel of the camera itself without having much prior knowledge to its latest model.

It was only fair I did some research to identify this new baby to the photography world.

From my early findings, the Olympus Micro 4 3 Camera otherwise known as Olympus Pen EP-1. A 12.3 MP Micro Four Thirds (hence the ”4 3”) Interchangable Lens Digital Camera proves to capture with excellent resolution with tons of details in the shot. I can testify as I was capturing the amazing night life in Macau when I visited recently.

Light weight body and easy to handle functionality seemed that this camera inclined to fuss free travelers without lugging heavy gear while having a good time. It proved to be a favorite with the ladies! What more when it can even record videos, so no moments are ever lost.

An eye for detail matters when it comes to good pictures and the Olympus Micro 4 3 Camera does justice by delivering a 3-inch HyperCrystal LCD with Live View function plus In-body Image Stabilization. The In-Creative camera features also gives more color and character to the pictures taken if one wants to induce a different spin on the shots. However, one setback which I found was the viewfinder, there was none!

Nonetheless, it is an easy camera to use as per function buttons layout and delivers high quality video recording which comes as a serious bonus for such a compact model. By installing lots of external controls on the camera adds to the convenient structure for anyone to basically pick this new baby up and go.

I think the common and quick mistake that one would adopt when using the Olympus Micro 4 3 Camera would be to assume that it’s meant to deliver the good as our bigger brothers in the SLR category in terms of responsiveness or noise for that matter. It’s a light and easy model with a big performance feature and if you start your expectation with that in mind, I think you’ll develop a mighty fine relationship with the Olympus Micro 4 3 Camera up ahead in your travel tales.

Furthermore, it’s a silent performer (this means it’s not as noisy and doesn’t become intrusive when capturing others either, stealth in lifestyle moments I say)
